The KB1-12KM is a rope-shortening/rope-adjusting fall arrester that can be retrofitted onto the 12 mini or 12 max safety rope. The KB1-12KM rope-shortening element offers reliable length adjustment for the rope. Once under load, it cannot be released, preventing unintentional rope extensions. Before starting work, the rope length is adjusted so that ideally no fall over an edge can occur. If this is unavoidable, the integrated FD2/12KM provides a cushioned stop. Especially for occasional users, this device provides a safe way to work. A must for safe and straightforward tasks or rescues on flat roofs or similar structural setups.
