We have been producing and developing safety technology at the highest level since 1978. This makes us a veteran of security technology. In addition to the manufacture and development of high-quality products, we offer a wide range of services. From revisions and training courses to complete installations.
Mittelmann has continuously expanded and extended its product range based on dialog with customers. The complete range includes safety harnesses, fall arresters, shock absorbers, safety ropes, rescue equipment and complete personal safety systems. We have a standardized or customized solution for almost every application.
We manufacture most of our products in our factory in Velbert. Whether it's the machining of our rescue devices or the sewing of the harnesses - with us you get - made in Germany.
Mittelmann goes green - We already manufacture with 30% solar energy.
Textile
At our sewing facility in Velbert, Germany, we process textile components into personal protective equipment (PPE), which distinguishes our products as “Made in Germany”.
Our focus is on producing high-quality PPE products that meet the strictest safety standards. Through precise processing techniques and quality controls, we guarantee the reliability and effectiveness of our products.
Metal
All metal components are precision-machined in our in-house metalworking shop. We use state-of-the-art production technologies and advanced machining processes.
We also ensure maximum quality and safety through seamless monitoring of the production processes.
Assembly
Our efficient assembly enables us to produce even large quantities effortlessly. As an OEM, we also manufacture on behalf of well-known customers on the market.
Long-standing employees with a wealth of experience and appropriate testing equipment ensure that every product functions 100% as intended.
Logistics
With the help of a modern and efficient logistics infrastructure, we are already able to supply customers from all over the world quickly and reliably. Our trading partners around the world play a special role in this, supporting us in our vision of making the world a little bit safer.

There is no Planet B. For this reason, we have been DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 certified since 2019 and are actively committed to sustainability and protecting our environment.
From the selection of our materials and the optimization of our production processes to the ease of maintenance of our products, we strive to minimize our ecological footprint and conserve resources.
We already cover around 30% of our energy requirements with our own photovoltaic system.
Product safety
Since 2011, we have also been working according to the strict quality standard Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). This structured sampling procedure for series parts in the automotive sector underlines Mittelmann's high quality standards. Every article is thoroughly inspected and tested before delivery.
