The diagonal descent set is used in combination with the RG10-Draht to quickly and efficiently evacuate high-level workstations.
For this purpose, two diagonal ropes are tensioned between the protective hub and the floor, on each of which an diagonal descent brake runs. The descent brakes are connected to the RG10-Draht, which is mounted in the protective hub, with another wire rope so that they run at a constant speed on the rope during the descent.
The rope brake allows the user to regulate the speed during the descent or stop it completely.
