The ropeAID is a specialized assistance device that is used exclusively to support the user when hauling in long lengths of rope, e.g. after training or rescue operations.

The ropeAID may only be used for hauling in ropes and not for lifting other loads.

Locations of use are wind turbines, cranes, gondolas, elevators, buildings, towers and similar.
